Many companies are jumping on the "Green Wave" bandwagon, but the are not alone. Green Mutual Funds are rapidly growing in popularity as investors worry more and more about the environment.

Green Mutual Funds invest in companies that are environmentally responsible or produce products that help clean up the environment or reduce our carbon footprint. This portion of the mutual fund market has seen tremendous interest in the last few years. It seems that new Green Mutual Funds are being launched every month, even during otherwise bleak economic times.

Green Mutual Funds have seen significant profits as well. Because many of these companies are small, growing and have products being developed that are in high demand their stocks have appreciated nicely.
